Grant Park Community Center 12-2023
At CASH 1, we believe in the magic of giving, especially during the holiday season. This year, we are excited to announce our heartfelt donation to the Grant Park Barrio Youth Project, aimed at bringing joy to approximately 65 kids through the gift of toys and stockings. The holiday season is a time for warmth, compassion, and community spirit. For many families, it can also be a challenging period. Our commitment to the Grant Park Barrio Youth Project reflects our dedication to making a positive impact in the lives of these young individuals.

Feed My Starving Children 12-2022
The CASH 1 Leadership team volunteered at Feed My Starving Children in Mesa to hand-pack meals which will reach the neediest children around the world. Together our Team packed 120 boxes which equates to 25,920 meals, these meals will feed 71 kids for an entire year!
Founded in 1987, Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) is a Christian non-profit that provides nutritionally complete meals specifically formulated for malnourished children.
Grant Park Community Center 08-2022
Grant Park's mission statement is "Building healthy communities through parks, programs, and partnerships. They do a fantastic job serving the community with well-maintained public facilities and thoughtful community events. CASH 1 is proud to have contributed tables and chairs to the Grant Park Community Center for events at the recreation center.
Grant Park Community Center 12-2019
Cash 1 sponsored a family of 7 this Christmas and was able to make their Holidays a little brighter this year by gifting them with toys, clothes and grocery funds. We also sponsored their Christmas dinner so they were able to enjoy a nice dinner, make gingerbread houses, and funds for a jacket for all 30 children and their families.
Catholic Charities of Southern Nevada 07-2019
CASH 1 employees volunteered at Catholic Charities of Southern Nevada to meal prep service to homeless and vulnerable men, women and children. Founded in 1941, Catholic Charities of Southern Nevada is one of the largest non profit social providers in the state, offering the most comprehensive range of human services.
Grant Park Community Center 06-2019
CASH 1 is proud to have contributed to Grant Park by helping to pay the utility bill for their summer program with 67 children attending. From 8:00 am to 3:30 pm they provide breakfast and lunch and a lot of fun, basketball classes, cheerleading clinics, dance classes, nutrition classes, and computer work on math and science.
Sandra Day O'Connor High School 05-2019
CASH 1 donated to the Sandra Day O'Connor High School (SDOHS) Football Team for a trip to Hawaii. SDOHS opened in the fall of 2002 and is named after former Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O'Connor, who grew up in Arizona.

Three Square 12-2018
CASH 1 teamed up with Three Square food bank to help in their kitchen with meal packing for kids. Three Square’s mission is to provide wholesome food to hungry people. They provide food by food banking and food rescue (obtaining surplus or unused food from hospital and grocery outlets).
Reno Boys and Girls Club 11-2018
CASH 1 sponsored a family by donating clothing and $500 through the Boys and Girls Club. The Boys and Girls Club is known for enhancing the quality of life for children ages 0 to 18. The Club plays an important role in helping members make smart decisions and develop healthy habits. They also offer leagues and camps for many sports to cater to the community at large.
St. Mary's Food Bank 08-2018
CASH 1 volunteered at St. Mary's Food Bank in order to help them pack emergency food boxes for those in need. St. Mary’s Food Bank serves to alleviate hunger through the gathering and distribution of food while still encouraging self-sufficiency and education. St. Mary’s Food Bank is a great experience for meaningful team building experiences while also helping those in need with a source of food. They are able to cater to over 1,000 families every day because of valuable contributions from the community.
Phoenix Children’s East Valley Urgent Care in Mesa 03-2018
CASH 1 volunteers assisted the Phoenix Children's East Valley Urgent Care in Mesa with hosting a family-friendly early afternoon fair offering families FREE vaccinations from the Mesa Fire Department, free bike helmets and car seats, giveaways for children and adults, fun games and entertainment, and pediatric health information.

CASH 1 is proud to support the Phoenix Children’s Hospital Foundation through the Play It Safe Fair. Phoenix Children’s Hospital gives hope, healing and the best healthcare to sick children and their families as well as conducting research and using cutting-edge technology to save lives.

CASH 1 is proud to have contributed a scoreboard to Grant Park recreation center. The scoreboard will be an essential part of any sports leagues that are held at the community center. Grant Park is a great place to go to with family or friends for a fun day full of activities. They do a fantastic job of serving the community with well maintained facilities for people to spend their time.
Double Diamond Elementary School 02-2017
The CASH 1 Reno crew donated a $200 gift basket to Double Diamond Elementary School to help raise money for art classes.

Northern Nevada Children’s Cancer Foundation 06-2016
CASH 1 was proud to donate to the Northern Nevada Children’s Cancer Foundation. They give assistance for medical copays, mortgage or rent, travel for treatment, household utilities and so much more so that families can focus on what matters most, getting their child healthy.
Reno Continental Little League 03-2016
This sponsorship helps the Reno Continental Little League keep their sign-up fees to a minimum. The sponsorship also assists with the costs of equipment, uniforms, groundskeeping and field maintenance. We were honored to assist with maintaining the quality of the program for the players and families.

We volunteered with St. Vincent de Paul assembling Easter coloring books and cards for the children at the Family Evening Meal and Dream Center as well as special projects in the kitchen. The Society of St. Vincent de Paul is dedicated to feeding, clothing, housing and healing individuals and families in our community who have nowhere else to turn for help. They have been serving the community throughout central and northern Arizona since 1946.
WONDERLAND 2015 12-12-2015
CASH 1 sponsored children and adults so they could enjoy an amazing day of fun, food and holiday cheer. Wonderland is an event that is hosted by Chrysalis in Arizona. Chrysalis is leading the community to broad-based solutions to prevent domestic abuse.
Boys & Girls Club of Truckee Meadows 09-12-2015
The CASH 1 Reno crew volunteered for the Boys & Girls Club of Truckee Meadows Annual Day For Kids. We also donated $1,000 to assist the Boys & Girls Club in enhancing the quality of life for children, ages 0 to 18, in the Truckee Meadows. Since their founding in 1976, the Club has grown from a single site serving a few dozen youth to 20 sites around northern Nevada serving more than 13,000 youth each year.
St. Vincent de Paul 06-02-2015
The CASH 1 Phoenix crew was proud to assist The Society of St. Vincent de Paul with setting up, serving, bussing tables, and clean-up at one of their five dining room locations. St. Vincent de Paul is an international non-profit organization dedicated to providing services for the poor and supporting volunteers with opportunities to serve their neighbors in need with love and compassion. SVdP has been serving the community throughout central and northern Arizona since 1946.
Ronald McDonald House Charities of Greater Las Vegas 03-2015
The CASH 1 Las Vegas crew volunteered to assist the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Greater Las Vegas with preparation of sack lunches for families who are staying by their child's side when they are receiving medical treatment at University Medical Center (UMC) and Sunrise Children's Hospital. More than 600 lunches are delivered each week.
Reno Continental Little League 03-2015
CASH 1 sponsors the Reno Continental Little League. The sponsorships help the RCLL keep sign-up fees to a minimum and maintain the quality of the program for the players and families. We were honored to assist with the costs of equipment, uniforms, groundskeeping and field maintenance.
ST. VINCENT DE PAUL 12-31-2014
The AZ CASH 1 Loans crew volunteered to serve the hungry with St. Vincent de Paul. Feeding over 700 people their lunch that day, we did a variety of tasks to support the event including prepping the food, serving the food, clean up, and garbage detail. Every person worked incredibly hard to do their part. The Society of St. Vincent de Paul is dedicated to feeding, clothing, housing and healing individuals and families in our community who have nowhere else to turn for help. As important, SVdP provides meaningful opportunities for volunteers to serve their neighbors in need with love and compassion. SVdP has been serving our community throughout central and northern Arizona since 1946.
Adopt a Family 12-2014
We had the privilege of assisting two families in need for the third straight year! Our first family had three children ages 9, 11 and 15. Their mother said that we truly did make a difference in their lives this year and that she also appreciated us taking the time and effort into making their Christmas a joyful one! Prior to leaving Maria's three children sat on the couch with a smile on their face and yelled "Merry Christmas! Thank you!!". Our visit to the second family also had three children ages 6, 8 and 9. We were welcomed by Diana, the grandmother who thanked us multiple times, gave us a hug and said they were so very grateful for our help this Christmas. Both families welcomed us with open arms and we were more than overjoyed to have been able to hand deliver their presents again this year.
Gift of Education 07-2014
CASH 1 supports great learning opportunities in our community. We sponsored a portion of an educational trip to Washington, D.C. for a Phoenix, AZ student. He spent four days exploring the Nation's Capital visiting the White House, Lincoln Memorial, Arlington National Cemetery, Smithsonian Museums and the Capitol Building. The program was organized through WorldStrides, the nation's oldest and largest student travel organization.
Operation Backpack 07-2014
Aside from financial services, CASH 1 has a solid reputation for giving back to communities. This year, in cooperation with Volunteers of America, CASH 1 was named one of the major sponsors of Operation Backpack. One of the missions of this program is to relieve parents of the additional financial burden that returning to school can sometimes bring to families in need. The added support helps instill confidence in youth returning to school and restores a sense of pride and confidence. Volunteers of America has been engaged in distributing supplies for this worthwhile operation every year since 2001. Our Reno Nevada store was designated as a coordinating hub for receiving new backpacks from the public for this cause. The team members collected $1,608 to help with the project and support the cause. The volunteers from CASH 1 also went to work stuffing backpacks to bring hope to youth who would have otherwise gone without.
North Valleys High School 07-2014
CASH 1 Loans Reno donated to the North Valleys High School girls and boys soccer program. We were honored to continue our support of high school athletics. CASH 1 believes athletes are provided an invaluable environment where they can gain essential experiences that help build character as they progress through education and into the work force.
Boys & Girls Club of Truckee Meadows 06-07-2014
CASH 1 volunteered for the Boys & Girls Club of Truckee Meadows Annual Spelling Bee. The event was held at their new William N. Pennington Facility in Reno, NV. Founded in 1976, the Club now serves more than 12,000 children at 20 sites throughout the Truckee Meadows. At all of its sites, the Boys & Girls Club strives to provide kids with positive and productive outlets for their energy with programs such as after-school tutoring, character and leadership development, healthy lifestyles, athletics and art.
Klip It for Kidz (Nevada) 04-05-2014
CASH 1 was involved in the 6th Annual Klip It for Kidz charity event held on April 5th, 2014 in Town Square Las Vegas, Nevada. This event raised money for the Nevada Childhood Cancer Foundation (NCCF) serving children with cancer and life threatening illnesses in Southern Nevada. Klip It for Kidz is presented by the Comprehensive Cancer Centers of Nevada and the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department. NCCF is a 501 (C) 3 non-profit organization serving children diagnosed with cancer and other life threatening illnesses. While raising money and awareness for NCCF, participants are also able to raise contributions for a child's school, class or school group (i.e. band, choir, etc.) at the same time.
Grant Park Recreation Area 03-2014
During the winter of 2012, CASH 1 helped build a computer center for Grant Park, whose mission statement is "Building healthy communities through parks, programs and partnerships." CASH 1 is pleased to announce, through continued support for Phoenix Parks, we have provided in conjunction with local businesses, ten PC's for the computer center. This gift helps build strong communities through value-added resources that enable and empower community residence in their search for jobs and knowledge, giving them the tools they need for continued success.
ADOPT-A-FAMILY 12-2013
Through our Partnership with St. Vincent de Paul in Phoenix, CASH 1 has been able to assist families in need through the holiday season through giving back to the communities we serve. This year, CASH 1 provided meals and gifts for families in need at a critical time of the years. While many of us are celebrating family and giving gifts, some families are worried about bills or whether they will have enough to eat this holiday season.
St. Jerome School Donations 10-17-2013
CASH 1 demonstrates commitment to community when they presented a check to Saint Jerome Catholic School, located off Desert Cove and 35th Avenue in Phoenix, AZ this November. The funds will be used for the Saint Jerome's eighth grade class benefits dinner and fund raiser. It is CASH 1's privilege and honor to help support organizations that focus on character, excellence, and community as these principles are a shared common core.
AZ Brain Food 10-10-2013
CASH 1 dedicated eighty man hours to packing school lunches in a partnership with Arizona Brain Food to help ensure children in the East Valley have proper nutrition and don't go to school hungry. As a partner, $2,000 was also provided to help support the mission of this organization. Arizona Brain Food is a non-profit organization that discretely provides a backpack of food to feed hungry school children on the weekends. Statistics show that 65% of students in Mesa, AZ are eligible for free or reduced lunch.
Damonte Mustang Bandits Cheer Team 7-18-2013
CASH 1 is sponsoring the Damonte Mustang Bandits for their 2013 fall season. CASH 1 provided the team with funds to help cover league and competition fees.The Damonte Mustang Bandits consists of 7 girls between the ages of 6-7 and will begin their cheer season in July and finish in November. Along with participating in a competition, the team will also be giving back to the community by cheering for the elderly community.
CASH 1 is honored to be able to sponsor a cause that teaches kids the importance of being on a team and to giving back to their community.
The Reno Continental Little League 6-20-2013
This spring CASH 1 sponsored two local baseball teams from the Reno Continental Little League. The RCLL is led by volunteers and serves youths ages 4 to 18 by teaching them the fundamentals of baseball and sportsmanship.
DUCK GOLF TOURNAMENT 10-05-2012
In the month of October Downtown Urban Community Kids, also known as DUCK, held a golf tournament to raise money for the centers activities. CASH 1 along with other local businesses and locals participated in the golf tournament to help the community center.
DUCK was created as a reaction to the growing number of children living in poverty. DUCK's goal is to provide a safe and fun place for children to go to after school. Duck wants to help children develop life skills and highlight the importance of education through tutoring, supervised computer time, devotional time, home and school visits, art, dance, science, crafts, drama, music, and sports activities. CASH 1 was eager to be a part of the tournament and support such a great cause.
Reno Pop Warner Youth Football: Tiny Mite White Team 11-20-2012
This fall CASH 1 sponsored the Reno Pop Warner Tiny Mite White team for their 2012 season. With the money CASH 1 donated the Tiny Mite White team were able to get custom made jerseys with their names on it, winter gear, and funds for a end of the year party. Supporting our community and being involved in the future of our youth is important to CASH 1.
Pop Warner is a non-profit organization that was founded in 1929 by the late Glenn Scobie Warner. The Pop Warner mission is to encourage children to benefit from being a part of a team. Pop Warner is the only youth sports organization that requires their participants to keep good grades because they are committed to developing children's future both on and off the field. Pop Warner is a great organization with a great cause and CASH 1 is honored to be able to help the players in any way they can.
8th Annual Nino’s Seguros Fair 08-12-2012
CASH 1 along with other local businesses teamed up to host the 8th Annual Nino's Seguros Safety fair. The Nino's Seguros Safety Fair is a yearly event that focuses on child education, health, and safety. For the second year in a row CASH 1 employees volunteered at the fair handing out school supplies and interacting with the community. In addition to the school supplies CASH 1 held a laptop giveaway for two lucky families.
